Two Veterans on the "Wall-to-Wall Cross Country Bicycle Ride" that began in February from the Wall of Valor in Bakersfield, CA on the way to the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, DC., has Memphis as one of the stops on the ride path.

On Tuesday, April 17, bicycle riders (VA employees and the Medical Center Director) want to welcome Jeremy Staat, retired NFL player and Iraqi combat Veteran, and Wesley Barrientos, 3-time Iraq War Veteran, 3-time Purple Heart Recipient and a double amputee to Memphis and rode alongside them from the VA Medical Center to their end location.
